The present article lists a collection of roughly 1 000 Annelida Polychaeta, gathered from the intertidal zone or by dredging, trawling and dragging during the years 1959-1969 by research-workers of l'O.R.S.T.O.M. at the Pointe-Noire Station, in particular A. Crosnier. The whole coast of the gulf of Guinea, from the Ivory Coast to Angola, is concerned in this study . . . A list of 105 species is given, twelve of which mere entirely or almost entirely unknown fo these regions . . . The first part of the article gives the distribution of the stations, with a few ecological characteristics for each one; the second part draws up the list of inventoried species, family by family; and these species are studied again, one by one, in more detail in the third part, with morphological and ecological notes, whilst in the fourth part, the author draws a parallel between this collection and others from these same regions that have recently been studied. The list of the 12 new or rare species is given at the end of the article. A bibliographic list and 5 plates of illustrations complete this study.
