Etymology The specific epithet longibranchiata is a New Latin ajective meaning 'having long branchiae', and is composed by the Latin prefix longi-, meaning 'long' or 'tall', and the New Latin adjective branchiata, meaning 'having branchiae', and refers to the very long branchiae that overlap each other in the dorsal region of the species.
