Mr. MacGinitie kindly submitted his collection of polychaetous annelids from Elkhorn Slough to us for identification. In the foregoing paper he gives a list of the species found. In many cases we have encountered points of some taxonomic importance which seem worthy of record. In others the specimens conform exactly, or very closely, to the description of the species to which they have been assigned and their records call for no further comment, but we have included them in the following notes in order that the references to the literature may be as complete as possible.
