The terebellid fauna of the Wallabi Group, Houtman Abrolhos Islands off the coast of Western Australia includes 22 species of which four are new: Pseudothelepus binara n.gen., n.sp., Neoleprea booligal n.sp., Spinosphaera cowarrie n.sp,, Tyira owensi n. gen., n.sp. Many species and several genera are recorded for the first time from these coral reef islands, as no detailed description of the polychaete fauna from these islands has been undertaken before. These records often represent considerable range extensions and include two new generic records for Western Australia. A key to the species described in this paper as well as Tables listing the major characteristics used to distinguish genera within the Thelepodinae and Amphitritinae.
