Etymology Terebellides nkossa "is named after the N’Kossa gas field located off Congo, where most specimens were collected." Thus, as the placename is not altered (except to remove an illegal glyph), the species name is an invariant noun in apposition [details]
Type locality Type locality is stated as off Gabon, but in fact the holotype geolocation is further North, off Equatorial Guinea, 1.3303 N, 8.73 E ( 1º19.82’ 8º43.8’) 43 m [details]
