Spelling In Kinberg this species is deliberately spelled "Hermadion magalhaensi" (and not 'magalhaensis'). Thus perhaps the name is either referring to Magellan the explorer rather than Magellan the geographic area or Kinberg was intending to treat Hermadion as a neuter genus (as some later authors do). However, that spelling would be 'magalhaense' [details]
