Etymology Scalibregma beaufortensis is named for the Beaufort Sea in the Arctic Ocean where it was collected. For neuter genus gender agreement the correct adjectival name must be Scalibregma beaufortense (-is masc & fem, -e neuter) and not 'beaufortensis' as published by the author. [details]
Spelling Note that the author published the species-group name as 'beaufortensis' instead of the correct neuter 'beaufortense'. For a neuter genus gender agreement the correct adjectival name must be Scalibregma beaufortense (-is -is masc & fem, -e neuter). This is a mandatory correction under the Code (article 31.2).
