Spelling Hartman (1965) correctly created a neuter adjectival species-group name of branchiatum, but subsequently (e.g. Hartman & Fauchald, 1971: 129) a changed spelling to 'branchiata' appears, without explanation. This spelling, used for example in Blake (2025) is not correct. [details]
