Synonymy Kolbasova et al (2026) place Sagitella praecox Uljanin 1878 as a synonym of Typhloscolex robustus Friedrich, 1950.but this is clearly impossible on priority and if the synonymy is correct then Typhloscolex praecox (Uljanin) should be the valid name. Kolbasova et al (2026) several times state the equivalent of "We believe that T. praecox (Uljanin, 1878) may be a synonym of T. robustus Friedrich, 1950. They have no comment on the priority question. Their reason for ignoring the seniority of T. praecox may be that "T. praecox has never been seen by anyone since its original description." but this is not a Code compliant action. [details]
