Etymology Perkinsiana nuriae is named for the late Nuria Méndez Ubach, in charge of sample collections for TALUD, from 1989-2014. Noun genitive in apposition. [details]
Type locality Holotype, ICML-EMU-14043: Baja California, 27.1364 N, -114.5483 W, (27º08'11"N 114º32'54"W), 681 m. Perkinsiana nuriae and P. araceliae were found together within the same stations. [details]
