Editor's comment WoRMS previously had a record for a 'cubana' Rioja, 1958 subspecies of the species Eunice schemacephala. This name has been thoroughly investigated and no evidence has been found for its existence in a publication. Rioja 1958 did not create a subspecies, although he did record E. schemacephala. Although the presence of a subspecies as a WoRMS record is unexplained it is presumed to have been a prior databasing error, and has been deleted. [details]
