Diagnosis "Prostomium not protruding beyond eyes; 5 antennae, the median one reduced to a crest; 2 globular eyes. Proboscis short, cylindrical, with 2 cirriform lateral papillae. Three pairs of tentacular cirri. No rudimentary parapodia. Parapodia without terminal appendage, with projecting acicula. Dorsal cirri reniform, ventral cirri lanceolate.
