Publication date Publication date is 1922. Seidler (1922) first published his new genus Chaetacanthus in his paper on Euphione. There he describes the genus briefly and refers Iphione magnifica to it, also changing the suffix for gender agreement to 'magnificus'. This preempts the major later work of Seidler (variably cited as 1923 or 1924), which was then in press in another journal, but eventually published at least one year (perhaps two) subsequently.
