Classification placed in tribe Procleini Holthe by Stiller et al (2020). Molecular data indicated Reteterebella might be a junior synonym of Eupolymnia, but the respective type species, Eupolymnia nesidensis (Delle Chiaje, 1828) and Reteterebella queenslandia Hartman, 1963, were not tested.
