Holotype Schiaparelli & Jirkov (2016: 536) report "The holotype (NHM 1885.12.1.320) is poorly preserved: paleae totally removed; prostomium damaged; branchostyles absent. Judging by the characteristic branchial arrangement, shape of uncini and number of segments (17 TC, 14 TU, 15 AU), it is really Amphicteis, but cannot be further identified.
