Note Isle of Cres (formerly aka Cherso as in...
Type locality Isle of Cres (formerly aka Cherso as in Grube), northern Kvarner Gulf, Croatia, Adriatic Sea. Cres town and harbour is 44.96° N , 14.408° E. Grube collected several species from the Island. However, in the Hartman catalogue the type locality of C. tenuisetis is incorrectly listed as France. This was possibly because Cres island was at times a territory of France, although not at the time of Hartman Catalogue publication (1959).
