Specimen PMNH C-8, Peabody Museum, Yale University. Hartman (1942: 9) reports this is a slide, labelled as type, containing cross sections of a median region, with parapodia with simple hooded hooks. [details]
Synonymy Orensanz (1973: 373) recombined Lumbrineris nasuta Verrill into his new Lumbrinerides, without giving reasons and presumably without examining specimens, although noting it was "mal conocida" (poorly known). [details]
