Taxonomic remark The genus Paraonella Strelzov, 1981 is considered as a junior synonym of Paraonides Cerruti, 1909. However, the species Paraonella abranchiata has been retained in its original genus, and needs to be revised before being moved from Paraonella and assigned to a different genus. For this reason the species is here considered as taxon inquirendum. [details]
