Association The species lives in association with one species of the calcified hydrozoan genus Pseudosolanderia (Rosalindidae). [details]

Etymology The specific epithet parasimpliseta refers to the similarity of the species with Procerastea simpliseta Hartmann-Schröder, 1990. [details]
Habitat Living in association with one species of the calcified hydrozoan genus Pseudosolanderia (Rosalindidae). [details]
Taxonomy The atokes of Procerastea parasimpliseta is not known (the species was described with base on a stolon), thus the placement in Procerastea is provisional (Nygren, 2004). [details]
Type locality Pacific Ocean, New Caledonia, Mont Musorstom, at the Loyalty Islands Ridge (22º00'S, 167º54.70'E). [details]
