Editor's comment It is uncertain if Cenogenus minuta has been used as a valid name but Fauchald included the combination in WoRMS citing Carrera-Parra (2001). However, that author had sunk all Paraninoe into the prior Cenogenus except for P. minuta. He followed the Oug (1998) determination that Paraninoe minuta (originally in Lumbriconereis) was a mixture of taxa yet to be resolved. Thus it remains in Lumbrineris awaiting further resolution.
