Taxonomic remark For reasons unknown Hartman in 1944 (Eunicea article) and 1948 (Kinberg annelids) treated Lumbricus fragilis as type species of Lumbrineris. This is not possible as Blainville did not include it when he named the genus. However, the name is one of the oldest subsequently referred to Lumbrineris. [details] Taxonomy Generic name corrected
