Editor's comment The species tetraceros was tentatively referred to the genus Galeolaria by Mörch (1863: 371) since "The figure of the operculum reminds strongly of the preceding species [Galeolaria hystrix], and I thought to correct this by referring Pomatoceros tetracerus [sic] to Galeolaria" (my free translation of Mörch's comment). Consequently mistakenly synonymised with Galeolaria hystrix by Halt et al. [details]
