Etymology "The species is named yongei after Charles Maurice Yonge, eminent marine biologist and leader of the Great Barrier Reef Expedition of 1928-29. His name was given to Yonge Reef on the Outer Great Barrier Reef from where Clavisyllis yongei was discovered." (Watson, 2009). [details]
