Etymology The specific epithet microdenticulata is composed by the Greek prefix micro, meaning 'small', and the Latin adjective denticulata, feminine form of denticulatus, meaning 'denticulated', 'toothed', or 'having teeth', and refers to the small size of the teeth of the trepan. [details]
