Etymology The specific epithet latilamella derives from the Latin adjective latus, for 'broad' or 'wide', and the Latin noun lamella, for 'a small plate', and refers to the large, spoon-shaped postchaetal notopodial lamellae on chaetiger 1. [details]
Habitat Exposed sandy beaches, in shallow subtidal (<5 m). [details]
