Taxonomy Carter (1882) described Luffaria cauliformis on p. 268 and Aplysina cauliformis on p. 270. Wiedenmayer (1977) submits that the first is a valid Aplysina, while the second is a Callyspongia (tenerrima). [details]Unverified
