Synonymy According to Uriz (2002) this genus is a junior synonym of Geodia. However, previously, Pulitzer-Finali (1996) stated that the type of Geodinella, G. strongyla is a Caminus and a junior synonym of Caminus chinensis. G. strongyla does possess the spherules, which are a synapomorphy of Caminus. [details]
