Homonymy Because of the junior synonymy of Anchinoe with Phorbas, the species Anchinoe purpurea was transferred to Phorbas purpureus and this combination is preoccupied by Phorbas purpureus (Carter, 1886) (junior secondary homonymy). A new name was proposed by Hajdu & Teixeira, 2011. [details]
