Identification Although the description of Duchassaing & Michelotti (1864) is thoroughly unrecognizable, Schmidt (1870: 40) transferred this to the genus Reniera, as Reniera porosa . He gave no description of his specimen, so not only do we not know what Arcesios porosa is, we also do not know what Reniera porosa is and whether or not the two combinations concern the same species. Both are unrecognizable. [details]
Type material No extant type material. Unrecognizable. [details]
