From editor or global species database
Taxonomic remark Schellenberg notes in his original description that the type of Parajassa georgiana has an “Accessory flagellum not certainly recognizable”, which, according to Vader & Myers, 1996, places it in Ruffojassa. Barnard & Karaman (1991) placed the species into Ventojassa and this placement has been followed by a number of other later authors, including DeBroyer et al, 2007 who perhaps were unaware of the Vader & Myers 1996 paper. It is included by Souza-Filho et al., (2012) in Ruffojassa.
