Diagnosis Colonial, phaceloid-subdendroid. Budding extracalicular. Costosepta compact, arranged radially and bilaterally, finely granulated laterally. Columella lamellar. Endothecal dissepiments thin and vesicular, abundant. Wall septothecal. Epithecal wall present. [details]

Remark Nefophyllia is similar to Aulosmilia Alloiteau, but forms phaceloid-subdendroid colonies. [details]
