Comparison Mycetaraea is very close of Dermoseris and has anteriority. Mycetaraea can be kept at least (see Geyer 1954, p. 169) as a morphogenus name useful to designate the special astogenic stage intermediate between solitary (Trocharaea) and fully developed phaceloid (Dermoseris).
