Description Of the holotype….Dendroid corallum with an intracalicular septal increase producing a dichotomous branching in which branches are in a single plan. The corallum was epithecate but the colony was rolled in the oolitic depositional environment. Costae are probably originally absent. Calices infundibuliform. Radial elements are compact, attenuated, sinuous septa arranged in six systems well visible because S3 are anastomosed to S2 in a contratingent manner. Columella difficult to establish clearly because dorso-ventral S1 share all the visible calices in two parts. Endotheca not observed. No synapticule. Wall present, nature unknown. [details]

Comparison The genus is very close of a young Cladophyllia. The dichotomous branching in a single plan could be a differentiating character but presently only one specimen is known.
