Comparison The genus differs from other solitary genera with abundqant septa, Myriophyllum Cuif and Omphalophyllia Laube, especially, in the structure of its radial elements: far smaller diameters of trabeculae, granular micromorphology of septal sides, and abundant synapticulae. Diagnosis Solitary and phaceloid. Calices moderately convex. Columella parietal, papillar or compact and polytrabecular. Radial elements abundant, subequal in thickness. Distal border moniliform, lateral faces with granules and synapticulae. Dissepiments thin-walled, small, abundant. [details]
