Comparison Like Floriastrea Turnsek but polyps in less varibale integration types (only cerioid) and circumoral budding probably absent. [details]

Remark In the genus Agrostyliastraea Morycowa and Marcopoulou-Diacantoni features like e.g. internal paratheca are much more explicitly developed than they are in Floriastrea. Nevertheless, the same skeletal elements are present, emphasizing the close relationship of these two genera. [details]
