Description Colonial corallum with few mouths. The structure is mainly thamnasterioid but a preliminary wall can be erected. Lower surface with costae. Radial elements compact free exsert costosepta, bicuneiform, straight or curved. Distal edge with rhomboidal equal regular teeth, inner edge free and dentate, lateral faces with carinae arranged in a fan system. No palis. Microstructure montlivaltid. Hexameral symmetry not deciphered, bilateral symmetry marked by curvature of septa and the elongation of the distinct fossa. Endotheca of vesicular dissepiments. No columella, no synapticulae. Wall near the periphery of the corallum and nearly absent between corallites, paraseptothecal in nature. [details]
