Description Massive cerioid corallum with polygonal corallites. Lower surface without epitheca. Intracalicinal increase, radial elements compact mostly free, attenuated, straight or curved. Distal edge with rhomboidal equal regular teeth, inner edge sometimes anastomosed in depth, lateral faces with subvertical carinae, no pali. Microstructure badly preserved. Hexameral symmetry difficult to decipher, bilateral symmetry characterized by the curvature of septa. Endotheca abundant, columella abent or weak parietal in depth, synapticules in the wall. Wall comparable to Isastrea. [details]
