Diagnosis Original diagnosis (Sun & Li, 2018: 352): Prostomium conical, pointed. Branchiae from chaetiger 5. Thorax with 16 chaetigers, posterior thoracic neuropodial postchaetal lobes fimbriated with 6–8 papillae. First six thoracic neuropodia have 3–4 rows of uncini, with the last row short and curving ventral to anterior rows; subsequent thoracic neuropodia have 3–4 long rows of subuluncini and one short row of uncini posteriorly. Distribution West Pacific Ocean: East China Sea; South China Sea. [details]
Etymology "The species is named in honor of the Chinese marine biologist, the late Professor Baoling Wu, who was the pioneer and leader of taxonomy and benthic ecology of polychaete worms in China" (Sun & Li, 2018: 357). [details]
