Synonymy Sha et al. (2006) listed this species in synonymy of Unio longus (Zhu, 1976), discussing that the illustrated specimens fall well within the morphological range of that species. However, the exact publication date of Zhu (1976) is unknown (Martinson's description appeared on 7 July 1976) and it remains unclear which species name takes priority. [details]
