Etymology the species is name is due to the cylindrical elytral macrotubercles [details]
Spelling For gender agreement, as Kristianides is masculine, the species name should probably be 'cylindricus'. Past authors treating the name as a Latin adjective have used cylindricus -a -um. 'cylindricum' is a neuter ending. The author does not explain why 'cylindricum' is used when 'Kristianides' is designated by her as masculine. [details]
