Examination of four Paddy birds Ardeola grayii revealed 23 trematodes from the gut contents of a single bird. Morphometric studies specify that the trematodes understudies are new to science and named as Echinochasmus mohiuddini. The new species differ from its congeners in size of body, number of collar spines and size of eggs.
