description Himerometridae with long, nearly straight or slightly curved cirri that taper gradually from a stout proximal portion to a sharply pointed tip, of 40-60 segments; distal segments much longer than broad and without aboral process; no opposing spine; terminal claw nearly straight. First three proximal pinnules (PD, P1 and P2) increasing in length and stoutness. IIBr2 bearing interior IIIBr2 alone or accompanied by exterior IIIBr4(3+4). [details]
