A
predominantly
planktonic
fauna
of
smaller
Foraminifera
contains
16
planktonic
species
and
65
benthonic
ones.
One
planktonic
and
nine
benthonic
species
are
described
as
new.
Age
of
the
deposit
is
late
Eocene,
probably
in
the
lower
part
of
the
Globigerina
gortanii
Zone
of
the
uppermost
Eocene.
Depth
of
deposition
seems
to
have
been
more
than
200
meters.
