Synonymy Hartman (1942) correctly commented that original name Oenone maculata Milne Edwards is an Arabella [wrongly briefly placed in Lumbrineris in Quatrefages (1866), so there is no active secondary junior homonymy for Lumbrineris maculata Treadwell, 1901. However, later (1956) she changed her mind and created an unecessary replacement name of Lumbrineris treadwelli. It is thus a junior objective synonym of Lumbrineris maculata. Hartman (1956) does not make a case for the purported homonymy, or even state the name of the matching senior name combination. [details]
