description Heterometra with proximal segments of proximal pinnules strongly carinate, though not exaggerated. Cirri 25-30 mm long, of 30-33 segments; longest cirrals nearly as long as broad; distal cirrals about twice as broad as long with prominent median aboral spine. Arms 10-16 arms, 100-150 mm long. No IIIBr series; proximal brachials with elevated proximal margin, producing a regularly serrate profile with teeth directed proximally; all brachials exceedingly short; distal arm profile smooth.
