Four species of spionids, Malacoceros indicus (Fauvel), Rhynchospio glutaea (Ehlers), two new species Rhynchospio tuberculata and R. foliosa, are described from Japanese waters. Species of Malacoceros and Rhynchospio are reported for the first time from the Japanese area.
