[None. Begins as:]
The family Magelonidae is known for a single genus Magelona Müller, with 28 species from world·wide areas (Hartman, 1959-65; and Reish, 1965). Only one species, Magelona japonica Okuda, has previously been named from Japan (Imajima and Hartman, 1964). Four others are here added, of which three have been previously known, and another, M. agoensis, new species, is described.
