Taxonomy Hong et al. (2012) transferred P. guadalupensis from Paraleonnates Amoureux, 1985 to Leonnates Kinberg, although they cautioned that this may not be the best placement, and they did not examine the type. Paraleonnates Amoureux, 1985 is unavailable as it is a junior homonym. [details]
