Diagnosis Test small, earliest whorls planispiral with short axis and rounded periphery, coiling axis later changes abruptly, whorls become much wider and irregular and the test fusiform, septa plane in the early planispiral stage but irregular in outer whorls; wall thin, obscure, a thin median tectum with clear inner and outer tectoria in the early whorls, later whorls with tectum and diaphanotheca; septal pores present in the outer whorls.
