Diagnosis Test robust, globular to ovoid, about 5 mm in length, early whorls tightly coiled with elongate axis resulting in fusiform shape, abrupt increase in height after the juvenarium followed by four to five larger whorls, septa nearly plane to slightly fluted at the base; wall thick, of tectum and coarsely alveolar keriotheca, increasing in thickness in the adult stage, chomata very low and widely spaced; septal pores numerous.
